**Please Read Entirely Before Booking an Appointment**

I am not in-network with any insurance companies independently for lactation consults. however, i am contracted with the Lactation Network (TLN) and they do accept a number of insurances. If you would like to see if your insurance is covered, please fill out the form on their website by clicking here. it can take up to 48 business hours to hear back from them, but it’s generally quick.

If your insurance is not covered by TLN, you are responsible for the full amount at the time of the visit. I do offer sliding scale and that number is based on what you think you can pay depending on your family budget. You will never be turned away from care. I am also sometimes able to fundraise the amounts if needed through social media. please let me know before the appointment if you need sliding scale or if you want to try and have me fundraise the amount for your visit.

if your insurance is not covered by tLN, I can provide you with a superbill and you can submit it to your insurance and see if they reimburse you directly, but i will have no control over whether or not they accept it. it depends on each individual insurance company. you can be proactive and ask your insurance company if they reimburse superbills and what information they need.

for craniosacral visits, i do not accept insurance. i can accept hsa/fsa, however, for these visits.

i accept the following payment options: cash, check, debit/credit cards, Hsa/FSA cards, venmo, and paypal.

i see clients in multiple locations. i see folks in home on tuesdays, wednesdays, and thursdays, and in a st. paul office on fridays. mondays are generally reserved for urgently needed appointments from over the weekend.

**After You Book Your Appointment**

Here is what will be helpful to make our lactation consultation the most successful:

  • try to schedule your visit around a feeding time or as close to it as possible. If your baby is too fussy or hungry before the appointment, try to give them an ounce of milk or nurse them for a few minutes so that we can still try and facilitate a feed during the consultation. If your baby is not eating at the breast/chest well, please have extra pumped milk or formula for a feeding if needed.

  • if you would like me to look at your pump or any other lactation equipment, please have it out and ready for me to look at when the time comes or have it in an easily accessible area of the room we’re meeting in.

  • i have no requirements when it comes to where we’ll conduct the visit (if in-home). pick someplace comfortable for you and your baby and maybe a spot for me to sit if possible, but i’m also okay sitting on the floor.

Here is what will be helpful to make our craniosacral visits the most successful:

  • Try to feed baby before a CST visit. If baby needs to eat during the visit, that’s okay and they will never be deprived of eating.

  • i have no requirements when it comes to where we’ll conduct the visit (if in-home). pick someplace comfortable for you and your baby and maybe a spot for me to sit if possible, but i’m also okay sitting on the floor.

  • if we weigh baby, we’ll need an extra dry diaper to get the scale prepared for the weighing. so, bring a couple extra if you can.

if there is nothing available on my schedule, please reach out to me and I may be able to find a time in my schedule to fit you in. Otherwise, I will recommend other care providers who can see you sooner.

Weekend appointments are available by request if urgently needed with a $50 add-on fee. If you are located more than 25-30 minutes from st. Paul, a travel fee of $25 may be added to your consultation fee. if you are concerned with this, please email me.
